.NET 3.5, C# 3.0, and You!
by Justin Burtch
Version numbers abound in the latest installment of tools and technologies coming out in the "Orcas" wave. In this talk, we will discuss the enhancements to the C# language including Language Integrated Query (LINQ) and how it fits within your current development work. Even if you don't plan on migrating to .NET 3.5 soon, the language features can still be used in earlier versions of the framework. We will also help to clarify how the various platform versions differ and how Visual Studio .NET can help develop for .NET 2.0 and beyond.
Justin Burtch is a founder and CTO of Newbrook Solutions—a small company in the Washington DC area. He has been working in Microsoft technologies since 1997, focusing on building data-driven applications on the web and on the desktop. When not working, Justin enjoys hockey, golf, and biking. Justin has too many Microsoft developer certifications to mention.
